The video game console version of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be a third-person shooter, much like its predecessors from High Moon Studios Transformers: War for Cybertron, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and Transformer: Dark of the Moon. The game will have a single-player campaign that will let players choose whether they would like 

to affiliate themselves with the Auto-bots to protect Earth, or the Deceptions to destroy Earth. Escalation, the online multiplayer mode where four players fend off waves of increasingly tough enemies, returns with the addition of up-gradable defenses. The mode will feature over forty playable characters. In addition, experience points collected by players in both single and multiplayer will be shared.

The 3DS version of the game will be strategy RPG. "WIKIPEDIA"
